Open Call: Post-Physical
In a virtual environment, the rules of the physical world no longer apply. Gravity can be suspended, scale can expand infinitely, and materials can exist purely as data. Forms no longer depend on weight, structure, or fabrication, allowing artworks to emerge directly from computation and simulation.
When material limitations disappear, what defines the artwork? If objects can exist only as pixels, code, or rendered light, how does perception change? In digital space, matter becomes optional, and environments become infinitely mutable. The artwork is no longer bound to a single location or physical state, but can transform, replicate, or evolve in real time.
This open call invites artists to explore the post-physical condition, where art exists beyond traditional material constraints. We are interested in works that engage with dematerialization, synthetic matter, algorithmic forms, simulated environments, and the shifting relationship between perception and digital space. Rather than treating the digital as a representation of reality, this exhibition considers it a primary site where art can exist, transform, and be experienced.
