Jiatong Han is a visual artist practicing in video, installation, and artificial intelligence. She creates works addressing ecology, cross-species co-creation and posthumanism. Interested in the unspoken voice and expressions from the marginalized groups that repressed by the dominant or hegemonic culture. Her research and practice aim to challenge the presumption of the universality of euro-centric and/or masculine modernity. Jiatong earned her BFA in Film and Image art from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts and her MFA in Computer Arts from the School of Visual Arts. Since 2021, Jiatong has been invited to serve as a lecturer in the "Experimental Digital video production" research group at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Additionally, she holds the position of director at BKW studio.
