Yuehan Ma
Yuehan Ma is a junior at Parsons, The New School, majoring in Communication Design. Born in Beijing, China, and having spent nearly half of her life in the United States, Yuehan’s work is heavily influenced by her experiences navigating two distinct cultural landscapes. Her artistic interests center around bookmaking, printing, and interactive web design. Yuehan’s practice merges traditional craft with digital innovation, blending the tangible qualities of printed matter with the dynamic possibilities of the web. She
explores how design can foster engagement, whether through the physical act of interacting with a book or the immersive nature of digital experiences. Through her work, Yuehan seeks to create visually captivating pieces that encourage interaction and invite personal connection, always pushing the boundaries of what design can communicate.
