“Sorry, Your Art Is Too Hot to Ignore” : We’re opening submissions for a one-day group show on January 3, 2026.🌋
Send us the work people can’t scroll past — not the polite piece, not the “you’ll understand it after reading my thesis” piece.
We want the one that lands in the first second: too bright, too emotional, too loud, too strange, too sensual, too chaotic, too you.
If your work has ever made someone say：“holy shit, what is this?” ——that’s exactly what we’re looking for.
🔥Eligibility: We welcome all 2D and 3D mediums, including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital art, sculpture, ceramics, fiber art, collage, mixed media, installation, video, and performance. Emerging and early-career artists are strongly encouraged to apply.

🔥About the juror: Zhiheng Gong is a cross-disciplinary contemporary artist and craft practitioner whose work spans traditional Chinese lacquer (daqi), sculptural installations, wood structures, and paper-lacquer jewelry. His work has been exhibited across the United States, including the 22nd Betsy Meyer Memorial Exhibition at the Main Line Art Center and The Other Art Fair Los Angeles.
He is also the co-founder of Current State Studio, a Los Angeles–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting emerging artists and fostering cross-disciplinary creative practices.
🏆 What happens on opening night?
During the juried exhibition opening, our guest juror Zhiheng Gong will choose one Winner from the exhibition.
