A Space is proud to present SAVE / DIE / RETRY, a group exhibition exploring the relationship between digital time, human memory, and the act of beginning again. Drawing from video games, interactive systems, and contemporary digital culture, the exhibition brings together artistic practices that examine repetition, virtual identity, emotional attachment, and the boundaries between reversible systems and irreversible human experience.

SAVE / DIE / RETRY begins with a simple contradiction: digital worlds can return to an earlier state, while the people experiencing them cannot. In a game, death can be temporary, choices can be undone, and entire worlds can be restored as though nothing had happened. Yet each repetition carries the knowledge of what came before. A familiar room becomes a place of anticipation; an ordinary encounter takes on new meaning when its outcome is already known. The system returns to its previous state, but the player's memories, emotions, and experiences continue to accumulate. What appears to be a perfect repetition becomes an entirely different experience.
SAVE / DIE / RETRY invites viewers to consider what persists when a system begins again. The exhibition approaches memory as something that cannot be fully contained within a save file, and time as something that continues to shape us even when the world around us appears unchanged.
